Can we just add a 14 and pretend it's a celebration of the new year? haha. 13 ships though, most of them will probably be Chloe ships in my case because I doubt I'll get 13 together otherwise. I think I'll do a combination of those two lists because 5 character deaths is just evil! (Do character deaths of characters that don't stay dead count?)

Chloe/Jason gifs make me happy too. VERY happy. So, I happy I always grin like a loon when I stare at them. Yes, Jason was a very polite and well mannered young man who sadly was suffering from the curse of being in the middle of Clark/Lana and just like Adam and Lex that meant he had to go completely bananas and then die as well, to join the ranks of not just Adam and Lex but also Whitney. Poor guys, they were doing the world AND Clark and Lana a huge favor and got punished for it as thanks.

Adding a 14th could work. :D LOL, yeah I struggled with the thirteen ships too. I overthink things and was trying to do all currently airing show ships and not too many pairings involving the same people. It made coming up with thirteen so much harder. (And is part of the reason that I haven't finished the meme yet. LOL) But I say if you shipped those Chloe ships during 2013 then that's all that matters. And when don't you ship Chloe ships? ;D LOL, I had a few significant character deaths but yeah, I included at least one that came back to life and another that I considered putting on there. So if you do that one, I say go for it, no matter if they lived afterwards or not! (Or if it was all just a fake out and they never died at all. XD)

LOL, they do have that affect on you when you look at them. Just something about them. All the prettiness maybe? Its very true. You never want to get in the way of the Clark/Lana triangle, it does not end well for you. Whitney was the only one who escaped the fate of going crazy before he died. (Which is sad on so many levels.) And then of course there was Alicia too. I mean, she started off crazy, but she got better. And then she died. Pretty much for the same reasons. Being part of that triangle is a dangerous place to be. I think the only male that made it out alive was Oliver and well, he probably had to for DC reasons.

Exactly, when don't I ship them. :D I think I'll try to just use one though (which one could that possibly be,...hmm....) and see if I can get 13 together, I just include my longtime ships from old tv shows, like I still ship Cordelia/Angel.
Well, and if it's just character deaths of 2013 then I don't think I'll get those 5 together. haha. Though 5 actors is kinda boring. I need to think of something else.

Right, I forgot about poor Alicia, yeah, she didn't survive it either, maybe that's why they never fully put Chloe in that position because she was too much of a fan favorite to get rid off her like that. I never even realized this, with Ollie being the only one who made it out alive, though that's not quite true, Pete survived too and just had to leave town.

As long as you still ship them (and everyone should still ship Angel/Cordelia, so much perfection there.), then I think it works. All that matters is that you ship them. LOL, I've apparently had a harder TV year for characters than you. But I agree. Five actors is kind of boring and I had trouble coming up with them, so that's why I changed it.

Their smiles are infectious. :D

Yep, she was another triangle/Smallville casualty. Maybe, but then I know most people thought she would get killed off by the end of the show, so it really depends on when they would have put them together. Earlier years probably wouldn't have ended well for her. Later years....Much more questionable. Pete was never really a threat to Clark/Lana on the show though, just through comic book canon. They never seemed to even lean that way before he left, his crush was always on Chloe. (And while I'm always curious about what would have happened if Pete had stayed on the show, I think they still would have continued down the Clark/Lana path for most of the show. It wouldn't have made a difference.)

I do and yes, everybody should still ship them, they were perfect. Also, there's one character death that's sure to make me always cry. And seems like it, I currently can only recall one character death, Ryan, and I didn't even see that happening, I just know about it. So, I guess on TVD a bunch of people died with them just not staying dead/becoming undead. Yeah, I saw that you changed it and I just figured that maybe I just bump up the quote from 1 to five and make 1 character death/traumatic tv moment.

True, Chloe always was on the list of possible characters to die anyway, and well, if we're technical, she actually did die twice and had two fake deaths, so there's that. True Pete wasn't a threat to Clark/Lana on the show but neither was Oliver, he was just one for Clark/Lois, and most of the guys/girls that got in between them didn't suffer quite as severe fates as the ones getting in between Clark/Lana. And I agree, I don't think they would have gotten down the path of Lana/Pete on the show. They were too much in love with Clark/Lana for the umpteenth time.

They were perfect. And I wish we got more of them, but then I also think their last episode was kind of perfect, so you know...But yes, everyone should love them. It should just be a thing everyone agrees on. You made me curious about the character death that always makes you cry...So you do know about Ryan, I wondered. I didn't think it was a well kept secret, but still. It was a well done death. It made me tear up, but then, the older I get the more I cry at TV. But yeah, you can always switch it around if that works better for you. Plus then you can do five quotes.

LOL, its true. They loved to tease us with Chloe's demise. But then, I think most of the characters died (real and fake) deaths at least once on the show. I mean even Clark whose indestructible died a couple of times I think. Once definitely, but I think it was more than that. Ah, that's very true. The Lois/Clark triangles were always less devastating than the Clark/Lana ones. Like I said, I'm super curious what would have happened if he stayed on the show, like what direction some of the characters (like Chloe who filled certain voids he left) would have gone, but I've never really thought that it would have changed how invested they were in the Clark/Lana dynamic. We might have gotten a few drops/lines about the two of them to suggest a far distant future, but that would be it.

Haha, of course you wouldn't be any help with figuring something out for 20 somethings to make that happen. :P Though I guess the easiest for me would be to make it 20 songs! Because if all else failed I would just put together a top 20 list of my favorite Skillet and Red songs, and maybe one or two Thousand Foot Krutch songs.

Yes, basically almost the whole of season 4 more of it, that horrible horrible season, the only Angel season I never watched again after the first time! But yes, Cordy/Angel love should be a requirement for everybody! But then at least I think so should Chloe/Dean love, so who am I to demand it. ;) Lol, I meant Cordy's death! The end scene of 'You're welcome'! I always cry like a little baby!!! And I'm glad they didn't show the transference of the visions in that shot.
Yes, I know about Ryan, both that it happened and that it was well executed, because I might have stalked the Nikita tag on tumblr to find out what happened in the last two episodes and get visuals, but as so often I realized that at least when it comes to the visual tumblr is horribly biased towards the romantic ships on shows! Yes, I might switch it around though I guess I could get together 5 traumatic events that happened on tv shows, though my memory is becoming increasingly bad each year, so that would be a challenge too.

Hm, I don't think Martha, Lois or Oliver ever died real or fake, but I could have just forgotten about it. Okay, I just remembered we can scratch Oliver of that list, one version of him died in Luthor?, the Earth 2 Oliver anyway and I guess we can assume that he also died in Pandora, though we didn't get to see that one.
Lol, yes, for somebody whose supposedly invulnerable/indestructible Clark did die quite often. If it weren't for his daddy and his martian guardian the guy would be dead dead (he died in hidden (the gunshot wound) and in odyssey (arrows through his torso) and he should have been dead after falling with blueK on him off that building in Salvation/Lazarus (the removal of the stone making it all better again was a copout, imo), and not just in a throw a rock away and he'll be fine kinda dead, those are the three times I can remember. Yep, Clark/Lois was less destructive for the people around them but Clark still liked to trash talk the guys Lois was with, even if they were good ones and even way back in season 5 with AC with that ridiculously cheesy shot of them at the end of the episode. Clark just never made for the best boyfriend material, which is one of the reasons I think Chloe is the lucky one for escaping that fate.
And yes, I think it would have been interesting to see what would have changed if Pete had stayed, especially for Chloe's storylines from season 4 onwards because like you said they were the ones most affected by his departure, while Clark/Lana probably would have stayed pretty much the same.

See, I actually like S4. I'm biased because it was the first season of Angel I ever watched episodes of, so going in I didn't know the characters the same as everyone else, but I still enjoy it and I do rewatch it. Though I admit to there obviously be lots of problematic things. But I like darker Wesley and Angelus and Faith and it has Gina Torres and the end Fred arc makes me happy. So yeah...This might be one of those things we disagree on. BUT I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU ON CORDELIA'S DEATH. That whole episode and then that scene. Yeah, it makes me cry too. Especially because now I've seen comparisons to that and the pilot, where she tells him that its all just temporary and then her telling him she can't stay. And yeah, it makes it so much worse. (I'm a sucker for parallels and foreshadowing but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.)

LOL, stalking the Nikita tag probably helped. Though I agree, most things fandom related tend to be geared far more towards pairings (canon or not) than character related or friendships. Which is kind of sad (despite how much I love some of those parings), I would love for more character-centric stories to read instead of pairing centric. I mean, I enjoy both and I probably write more of the pairing centric so I'm as much to blame as anyone, but still. It would be nice.

I think you're right about Martha, she almost died a bunch of times, but never actually died. For Oliver, both times you included and I'm pretty sure he flat-lined in Toxic, though obviously they saved him. And I always thought Lois died in the end of S6 when Chloe healed her. It never specifically says it, but I always thought she did. There was way too much blood loss and the time it would have taken Chloe to get there...I can't imagine her surviving. LOL, see I forgotten like half the times Clark died. He really has to work on that indestructible thing.

It's true. Clark/Lois was far less destructive, but it doesn't mean he was really all that nice to any of her boyfriends. I mean even him and Oliver struggled with friendship for most of their time on the show, it wasn't until the last season that I think they really were friends who understood each other. Or as most as they could. LOL, its true. It might have been best she dodged that bullet. But then, out of everyone, I think Chloe always knew the best what should would have been getting into. But it still would have been Clark and well, we've discussed this. ;D

Its one of those things that I think will always bug me. Because Sam Jones asked to leave, they didn't write him out, so you know things would have definitely been different. But different how?

Well, I watched seasons 1-3 before season 4 and I'm a HUGE Cordelia fan, and I absolutely HATE what they did with her character in season 4, which is why once was enough, even if the season apart from that wasn't all bad. My favorite season will always be season 1. (I usually have a soft spot for the first season of a show even if the online fans usually complain about the monster/freak/case of the week set up they often have and which personally I actually quite enjoy.) But I get watching seasons out of order influencing your view of a show, the same happened with me and BtVS of which I first watched season 7, (though I never was much of a fan of the potentials) which significantly influenced my perception of especially Spike and Angel and is the main reason I never got into Buffy/Angel and it took me a while to warm up to Angel. And after reading at least a bit about the online opinion of season 7, I have to say that I probably like it better than most others do too.

haha, yes! I complain about it too but am not much help doing something about it either. Oh no, we're hypocrites, I think we need to do something about it. :)

Oh right, the introduction of Chloe's power, I forgot about that. Yeah, I think Lois died there, anything else would have been unrealistic, and I think otherwise Chloe wouldn't have died either since in Fracture Lex did flatline before Chloe healed him and died as a consequence. So, I guess it's only Martha and Pete who escaped the fate of dying/fake death.

Lol, Clark really is like an animal fighting off any male competition for the females of his herd. Of course Chloe is better than that and better off without him as her boyfriend. Her broken hero in his black car definitely is the better choice.
