Do you ever find yourself wishing someone would just suddenly host a fic-a-thon. Because well, you want fic. And to prompt things. And possibly write things.
I'm seriously thinking about it, which is new for me. But there usually supposed to have a theme right? Themes are important. And mostly right now, I'm just like, but I just want to prompt everything.
(I have a vague idea for like, prompts for things people feel get neglected in fandom and canon, things that don't get enough focus. Like individual characters (instead of pairings) and parings that get ignored in fandom (even when they're canon) and characters that get sidelined in canon text itself (even though they're awesome and don't deserve it). Or just fandoms that have died off or don't seem to get a lot of love in the first place. And it might be slightly less of a vague idea then I first thought...)
Okay, so there's a good chance I'm going to do it. Becuase like you said, spontanous fic-a-thon's are fun, I'm just usually not the one to host them. Also, my sending wishful thoughts out into the universe things has never really worked out for me in the past.
