So tomorrow I go to the dentist to get a tooth removed and I...Well, I hate dentists, they freak me out. Honestly anybody who wears those white lab coats freak me out, I don't even like going to the eye doctor. So yeah, my anxiousness has already started, a while ago actually, and I'm trying to distract myself. I already cleaned my room and reorganized all my dvds, and have now moved on to meme's. I have a tendency to collect them but never do them so, I'm chipping away at the list. And look, two days in a row for my 30 day meme. XD

1. Who's your favorite character in 2?

Dean. I love all the characters (or most of them anyways) but I’m definitely a Dean girl at heart.

2. Who's your least favorite character in 1?

I’m going to go with the with the obvious answer and say Lana. There were actually times that I did like Lana, and I think Kristen Kreuk is completely adorable, but Lana seemed to come across as rather selfish a lot of the time and to hold herself to different standards than everyone else.

3. What's your favorite episode of 4?

I’m honestly not really sure, but I just saw it last night and its definitely on my list of favorites, so I’m going with Bloodbath. I LOVE Abby and I think this is such an awesome episode. Its nice to see the team rallying around her because of how much she means to them. I also really like that in the end she was the one that saved herself.

4. What's your favorite season of 5?

Season two. There’s only the two seasons so I don’t have a lot of options, but S2 started with a bang and it’s never really slowed down, there’s been some great character development and so many amazing plot twists.

5. Who is your favorite 'ship in 3?

Again with the obvious, but Castle/Beckett. They’re just so awesome together and whenever they have a moment, small or big, it makes me go all fan girl.

6. Who is your anti-ship in 2?

Dean/Cassie. I usually like the love interest of the week on SPN, but I never really liked Cassie. I wanted too because I like the idea of Dean finding someone that he trusted enough to tell them about the family business, I just wish that it was a different person.

7. How long have you watched 1?

10 years. I came in a little late to the first season, but I’ve been there ever since and I’m going to be incredibly sad come May when it’s over.

8. How did you become interested in 3?

I watched one of those season preview things that ABC did and was like “I have to watch this show” and I kept watching and even got my parents hooked on it. Apparently those preview things do actually work.

9. Who's your favorite actor/actress in 4?

Hmmm…I’m going to have to go with a tie. Michael Weatherly and Mark Harmon. I don’t think I can choose.

10. Which do you prefer, show 1, 2 or 5?

Okay, this is cruel. You pitted SPN and SV against each other and it’s just so wrong. (Sorry TVD you’re not a contended with these other two in the running.) Honestly these two go back and forth as my favorite show, it just really depends on the time of day you ask me.

11. Which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3?

1 but that’s just because it has seven seasons on Castle, I’ve seen all the episodes of both.

12. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?

Probably Abby, simply because she’s awesome.

13. How would you kill off your favorite character in 1?

I wouldn’t. I’ve spent ten years hoping that she wouldn’t end up dead why would I decide to kill her off? But I guess, helping Clark and Ollie and the rest of the team save the world. I think that’s how she would want to go out.

14. Give a random quote from 1.

. Would a 3/4 crossover work?

LOL, I think it could. I can just see Tony and Castle cracking jokes with each other and Beckett and Gibbs rolling their eyes at them.

16. Pair 2 characters in 1 that would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple.

Well I probably like a lot of pairings for SV hat would fit this description for a lot of people. But I’m going to go with Dinah and AC. I think he would mellow her out and she would kind of reign him in.

17. Has 5 inspired you in any way?

Not really? I don’t really know what this is asking me, but I don’t think so.

18. Overall, which show has a better cast, 2 or 4?

Well both have awesome casts, but I’m going to have to go with SPN. I mean hello, Jensen Ackles, it wins for me.

19. Which has better theme music, 3 or 5?

Well Vampire Diaries doesn’t have any theme music, so it automatically goes to Castle.


Day 09 - The most believable relationship?



I love Harry and Sally’s relationship. It’s one of my favorite movies and I just love the evolution of the characters. They were friends first, pure and simple and then the idea of something more came into play but they were in denial mode for a long time. They had a lot of ups and down, in and out of their own relationship, but they were always there for each other and they had this strong friendship to base their romantic relationship around and I just love that.

LOL. Its a play on that whole "good friends bail you out of jail, a true friend will be there in jail next you" thing. Only Smallville style. Its from a really cracky episode from this season, where there's magic champagne and everyone wakes up in random places not knowing what happened the night before. (Think a much tamer The Hangover) Lois and Ollie on the railroad tracks. The episode is better than it sounds, but pretty much pure crack with the excepton of a few scenes.

I enjoyed reading your answers for the meme. I agree what you said about Lana. I love KK and Lana had potential but AlMiles' obsession ruined her. I do find it funny that the relationship I like best for her after Lex is Lois. Those two had an interesting dynamic and seemed to genuinely like each other (with the exception of 'Wrath' but that's an episode I pretend never happened), which I thought was ironic. It's a shame the SV writers don't value friendships more.

Michael Weatherly and Mark Harmon are totally my favorites in NCIS! I always have a hard time picking between them too.

I am with you on Dinah/AC. Honestly, on SV, I saw more chemistry between them, especially in "Odyssey".

(a) Three facts about them from my personal canon/fanon

1. For all his playboy ways, what he’s always wanted most was a family, to be loved and have a support system. But his want for it scared him, and that’s what lead to all the one-night stands and the relationships he screwed up (Tess) because if he had something like that, he could lose it too.
2. He had thought about Chloe that way long before he acted on it. He had always known she was attractive, but he started noticing it more when he moved back to Metropolis (S8) and they spent more and more time together. In his mind, their archery lesson had been a long time coming.
3. He’s envious of Clark and the other super-powered members of the team. He believes in what he’s doing and he’s confident in his skills, but sometimes he still wishes that he had that kind of power.

(b) a reason he/she sucks.

I love him, but he’s too stubborn for his own good. Once he’s convinced of something, it’s hard to stop him from doing it, often with bad results. I think he’s getting better at it, but he still needs to work on that.

(c) a reason he/she is amazing.

He’s just this awesome snarky adorable big hearted sarcastic loyal guy. LOL, he’s the type of guy you want on your side because you know he’ll always be there for you, maybe not in the way you want him to be, but he’ll be there just the same. And he’s so freakin pretty. XD

(d) Five things that I’d like to see happen to them

1. If he could find a way to reverse his whole outing himself as the Green Arrow thing, I would love that. Someone’s writing a fic where he goes to Zatanna to cash in that wish she owes him for just that reason. I would fully support this plan.
2. I would like for him to be able to get rid of the Omega symbol (I think that’s what it’s called) on his own. I always love when we get to see the characters supporting each other, but I’d really like to see him defeating it on his own, his own personal strength winning out.
3. Somewhere long down the road, a little baby Queen for him and Chloe. :D
4. His and Clark’s relationship grow stronger. They have their ups and downs, but their ups are always awesome. So I think it would be nice for it to steady out a bit more, make them closer. I mean they are cousin-in-laws now, Lois and Chloe will be making them spend tons of time together.
5. A happily ever after for him and Chloe. He’s already had so much angst in his life, he doesn’t need more of that.

(e) Five people that I can’t ship that character with and why

1. Tess. I completely love them as friends, this season has been awesome for that, but I can’t ship them together. Maybe if you throw in Chloe as an OT3 kind of thing, but that would the closest I could get. :D
2. Lana. Putting my problems with her character to the side, I never really thought Ollie liked Lana. He didn’t dislike her, but considering their lack of interaction he only knew her as Lex’s wife and Clark’s girlfriend. And I always thought that he thought she held Clark back, that was the vibe I got from him anyways.
3. Dinah. I know it goes against comics and I do respect the mythos aspect of it, but on SV we never really witnessed much interaction between the two and what we did never really gave a shipper vibe.. And honestly, with the SV carnations of them I don’t think they would have worked. I think their personalities would have clashed too much to make an actual relationship work.
4. Lex. Not a pairing I’ve actually stumbled upon myself, but I’m pretty sure Lex and Oliver would be upset by the mere thought of it. Their hatred runs deep on both sides and there’s really nothing to bend to make them work in any sort of way beside enemies.
5. Kara. Again not a pairing I’ve come across before, but there’s a good chance someone out there ships it and I’m running out of cast members. But I think Kara would be too young almost for Oliver, if that makes sense.

I agree with all five people you listed, especially Lana and Lex. Those two ships are my least favorite in SV fandom. I don't think he liked Lana much either, which was a relief because spoilers in s8 were scaring me. I don't get Lex/Oliver. I've seen it (and in threesomes with Clark, which I also don't get, because neither of them is the sharing type). There's hte whole love/hate thing which is why I like Harry/Draco but Ollie/Lex is just hate.

I know I'm entirely biased but that's exactly as I see it. :D I just read something where BQM said the original script of Hex had Ollie giving Chloe a cake and carrying her home from the party (which I'm assuming means up to the apartment not all the way home cuz that's a looong walk XD), I think this fully supports this theory. Or at least just makes me happy.

The story kind of went a different way because of that whole, she grants your deepest wish thing, maybe not the thing you think you want but you actually want the most. That's the same for me. I defenitely don't see the threesome with Clark, because like you said neither of them seem like the sharing type in general, but especially not with each other. And like you said, there are relationships that work with the love/hate thing, where there's room to bend to get that love in with the hate, but its just the hate for them. The only way it could work is if it was completely AU, way way AU imo.

Haha, that's exactly how I am too! Its nothing against Alaina because she see does seem to do the best with what she's given, its just that she's not given all that much. She has to be one of the JL guest stars we've seen in the most episodes but I swear its like we've seen the least from her. I don't know how exactly that works, but that's what it seems like.

Yes, I heard about this too! I also heard that there was supposed to be an episode with the SV girl heroes teaming up but there wasn't enough money, which makes me sad.

Oh yes, this is a given. I remember reading a Clois fic where Bruce and Ollie were competing to be Clark and Lois's daughter's favorite uncle. It made me laugh. :D

Oh I love your icon choices! And LOL, at the invalid question. XD The Chloe one is one of my favorites of her and I really should use that Ollie icon more, it makes me very happy. And you know I never really thought about it but that icon does have to be confusing if you’ve never seen the show, LOL. It’s a quote from an episode actually, he gets body-swapped with a sixteen year old boy who goes to a bar and gets hit on and that’s his rather enthusiastic response. LOL. Its actually a really funny scene, Jared Padelecki should do more comedy.

Thank you. And I agree, Lana had amazing potential in the beginning and I’ve never seen KK in another role that I didn’t like, but they really did ruin the character. I totally agree about Lois too, I loved their relationship on the show. I honestly never expected the relationship they gave us between the two of them, but it worked so well. They were friends but there was never any underlying problem or any tension involving Clark or anybody else. It was very nice. It really is a shame they don’t. Such awesome possibilities.

Its actually a really funny scene, Jared Padelecki should do more comedy.
That's how I feel about Tom Welling. I remember Jared having some funny moments on Gilmore Girls. He had good comedic timing, if I remember correctly.

Someone told me that KK actually wanted out after s6 and AlMiles promised her a good plot in s7. Clearly, they lied. KK and TW always had a natural chemistry but they seriously seemed bored in some of their scenes that year.

I honestly never expected the relationship they gave us between the two of them, but it worked so well.
One of the many things SV did right was not pursuing the Lana/Clark/Lois triangle that seems to be prevalent in many other verses. Whatever their reasons, IDK, but I'm grateful. Plus, Lana was the one who called Clois first! (I'm sure this news would devastate Ollie XD) I was kind of hoping that the'd reference that in s8 but sadly, we ended up with, well ... we all know what we ended up with. :\

Tom Welling should defenitely do more comedy too! I always love it when he gets to do comedy on SV. Yeah, Jared had some good moments on GG too.

I did not know that, but it actually makes a lot of sense. And I can't say I'd blame her for wanting out, I mean by that point the viewers were tired of Clana (for the most part anyways) I can defenitely see how it would be tiring for the actors too.
Yup, I mean, Tom Welling said in an interview in 2005 that Clark and Lana should move on and be friends. It only makes sense that the actors want what's best for their characters. Hell, even Allison Mack was supposedly very insistent on Chloe getting to move on from Clark. As for KK, I can see why it probably made her develop her movie career. Do you know that in 'Traveler', that scene in the Fortress was actually written for Lana? But KK was too busy filming Street Fighter and they had to shift it around. I always did wonder why Lana disappeared suddenly from the episode. I guess she decided to repriortize since AlMiles were being such lying douches.

I always thought it was neat that Lana was the first one to call it because I think she did know Clark well enough to see it.
Totally.You know the scene in 'Disciple' where Lois is all "Clark Kent and Lois Lane- who knew?" And Clark was like, "I did." I always LOL because I love him to pieces but he seriously was the last person to clue in.

I think it would have been awesome to see a reference to that in S8
NGL, I think it'd be hilarious to see Ollie and Lana bickering about who saw 'Clois' first.

It's a shame that Clana never got the closure Lollie did. I read a 'Fortune' review where someone mentioning how it's obvious Lois and Ollie care about one another but it's not at all sexual and how that's what Clana should've been. I agreed.
