Author’s Note: I was watching Nikita when the idea just hit me. I have no further explanation that for this, considering this was not a crossover I had even been considering. Written for the [livejournal.com profile] xoverland drabble challenge love state. Banner also made by me. I got bored.

Michael lifted the gun higher, surprised when the blonde did nothing more than smile at him. “Let’s make this simple, you hand over what you stole and I promise not to shoot you.”

Her grin grew larger as she eyed him. “Sorry handsome, not gonna happen. The people you work for are planning some very naughty things. This is going to help me stop them from happening.”

“Then you should know that they’d be willing to do whatever it takes to get that back, including killing you. You give it back, I won’t do that. You know I don’t want too.”

“Awww Michael, you got a soft spot for me? Not going to lie, I’m a little flattered. Another time, another life and maybe…”

“Damn it Chloe, stop making this difficult. The rest of the team will be here any minute now and they will not hesitate to shoot you.”

“You know, you’re a good guy Michael, I don’t know why you work for them.”

“You know anything about me.”

“Trust me, I know more about you than you probably want me too. I have my own team and we are very good at what we do.”

“Your own team?” He repeated.

“What? You thought I worked alone?”

As if on cue two men appeared behind her, guns drawn and aimed at him.

“Boys meet Michael. Michael meet the boys.”

He let out a small laugh, his eyes going back and forth between all three of them. He was outnumbered and knew it. Just when he thought he was starting to figure her out, she surprised again.

“Floyd, relieve Michael of his weapon.”

“Gladly” He said stepping forward, cocking his gun. Chloe’s hand on his shoulder stopped him and she gave him a pointed look.

His expression darkened but he stepped forward, removing the gun from Michael’s hand and handing it over to Chloe.

“Very nice.” She said, her hand gliding over it. “When I use it, I promise to think of you.”

“Well, don’t I feel special.”

She grinned again, a smile that made her seem out of place in this world, in his world.

“You should. If it wasn’t for me, they would have killed you already.” She said tucking the gun into the waistband of her jeans. “You ever decide to leave Division, to be the man I know you are, you find me.”

“I’m happy where I am thanks.”

“You keep telling yourself that cowboy.”

“Knock him out,” She said nodding at Flagg, “We don’t want them getting suspicious because of this.”

He grunted in agreement, stepping in front of him giving Michael a cocky grin. “You really should be glad she likes you.”

His eyes strayed back to Chloe and she gave him a small smile, one that looked almost regretful. “As always it’s been a pleasure Michael.”

There was a sharp pain on the side of his head and then everything went black.
