A very nice person, ladydragon76 commented and told me that stories I had been writing had been stolen and posted on another website. I looked it up and found FOUR stories that I had written the last year posted there without my permission or knowledge.

And looking over the website I saw that it included lots of other fics, as well as just posts from people, who I find it unlikely gave their permission or even knew about it.

She explains it better than I ever could and shows you how you can ask for them to take your stories/post off the site and get them to stop posting them. Its simple and direct and helpful. Something I personally needed because I was upset. EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOMETHING POSTED YOU CAN STILL REQUEST THAT THEY NEVER STEAL YOUR POSTS AGAIN. So even if your not affected yet, you can make sure that not affected later.

I just posted a story today and it was already up there and I just, please check it out even if you don't write fic, using your username, and please spread the word. I'm sure I'm not the only one on your f-list to not want their work published somewhere else without their permission. Something this person doesn't ask for.

Yep, that was basically my reaction. And apparently the guy whose doing it, doesn't seem to get how wrong it is despite everybody pretty much telling him it.

I just...you basically said it. When I think too much about it, it breaks my head.

I'm just very frustrated at teh moment and hoping that no one else on my f-list is effected, or that they can at least know about it now if they are and put a stop to it. Because I never would have known if a very nice person hadn't told me.

Yeah, the whole thing is just ridiculous. Linking/reccing a fic is fine. Posting the whole story on another website, not even giving credit to the person despite keeping all their tags/comments, is a whole different thing and so very very wrong. I mean, really? What's the point of it? Also, they're not just taking stories, there re-posting posts that aren't fic too. Which is like double wrong, well its all wrong, I don't know its all wrong and kind of creepy. If it wasn't for nice people I wouldn't have even known about it. Hopefully spreading the word works.

I have a special love of Red!K Clark, that I probably shouldn't have. LOL. So I love how he looks in the icon. And I totally get that, some people just make really awesome icons. But the fun part is getting to use them. :D

I feel if you want someones fics it should be there choice to post none of mine where there
yeah gotta love Red-k Clark and Kal probably why I write him lol
