I didn't LOVE Dawn, but I don't think I ever hated her. I love her and Spike to DEATH. But other than that, I had always been really weirded out by her presence, and I HATE the idea that Buffy could love Dawn more than herself, or that Dawn could be the only part of herself that she loves, and so in that sense, I had issues with Dawn existing because Buffy is and always will be one of the best characters to EVER exist.
