Multi-fandom Ficathon

(Created because, well just wishing someone else would do one, didn’t seem to be working. Also upupa_epops convinced me this wasn’t a terrible idea.)

This is free-for-all kind of ficathon, which means everything goes. Any show, any movie, and book, mythology, original, crossovers, new fandoms, dead fandoms, anything.

RULES:

One. As per usual, one prompt per comment. It just makes things easier for everyone. Prompts can be anything (lyrics, a word, a picture, anything) but they should look something like this: fandom, pairing/character, prompt. Or something very close.

Example: TVD, Caroline,in the mirror you’ll find faith, plastic flowers never fade

Two. You don’t have to write anything to prompt, and the same goes the other way. You don’t have to prompt to write. But, of course, I encourage both.

Three. Please feel free to prompt as much as you want. Don’t worry about how much or how little, you’ll find I encourage spamming.

Four. When you fill a prompt, please leave a link to it here. Your header should include a title, the fandom, the rating, the characters/ships, and warnings if there are any.

Five. Leave feedback. Everybody loves comments on their work, they just do. And if someone fills your prompt, really it’s just polite.

Six. Speaking of….Be nice everyone. Just because you don’t like a prompt, doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t have the right to put it out there. Act like the awesome people I know you are. Also, please warn for anything that can be considering triggering. I’m here and around, but I really don’t want to have to be on people for things like this, and I’m hoping that it never reody quired for me to delete anything. But I will.

Seven. There will be spoilers in here for many different fandoms, it’s just inevitable. You’ve been warned.

Eight. GO FORTH AND PROMPT AND FILL PROMPTS AND PIMP THIS THING OUT. Okay, that’s not legit rule. But go forth and do so anyways. Anyone and everyone is welcome, to prompt, fill, and pimp this thing out. Seriously though, please pimp this out. More people is always better.

“Everyone is better than me…”

Bella is barely aware she’s spoken until she feels a surprisingly gentle hand on her shoulder, the next words enough to bring a light touch of pink to her cheeks, she has spoken aloud and someone has heard her.

“No, no we’re really not…”

Rosalie. Of course. The most perfect girl of the group, Bella turns, about to make a comment and finds herself strangely captivated by the other girl’s eyes, strangely warm. She looks as if she wants to cry… but she doesn’t.

“Bella, nobody is better than you…”

“Yes they are.”

“No.”

Before Bella can argue her point any further she finds herself pulled closer, Rosalie’s lips brushing over hers with enough determination that she takes an un-needed breath, accepting that she will end up letting Rosalie take charge… she always does.

The first Bella knows about the fact she can now apparently attract anyone she wants is when Rosalie ends up in her bed one night, it had started out innocently, Rosalie had been upset about something and, since Edward was away hunting, she had allowed the girl into her bed, trying to calm her.

The next she knew Rosalie had latched onto her and the two were deeply entwined, Rosalie’s lips brushing insistently over hers even as she fought to think, finally giving in to pleasure.

Then the next night she had woken to find a sleeping wolf-girl in her bed. Bella had sighed, this was getting to be very strange… although she still let the girl sleep, choosing to wait until morning to figure out what was going on.

Joan stands and watches as, yet again, she is the other woman. She had hoped that Anya might be the right one, the one to actually marry her but yet again she was a mistake, an ill-kept secret, the other woman. She was starting to think that she was born to be the other woman… she always had been.

Anya looks from Susie to her, then back again, the two are talking in quiet tones and Susie half-smiles, looks over at Joan and nods, clearly agreeing to something…

It isn’t Joan who makes the move this time but Susie, crossing the crowded room to talk to her, her voice warm, gentle and strangely genuine.

“You’ve always been the other woman haven’t you?”

“How can you tell?”

“I used to be exactly like you… on the outside, looking in… then Anya found me…”

“Lucky you.”

“Lucky us… she likes you Joan… she thinks I might like you too… so… why not take a chance?”

It’s dangerous, it’s different and it’s scary but… she believes Susie, and she agrees.

Red Riding Hood stands and watches as the girl she loves, Belle, walks past yet again. She knows she’s a simple country girl and she lives in a small cottage but she still dreams of the girl, she wants her… she misses her.

They had been friends once until Belle was taken away, now she doubts she will ever see her friend, the girl she has fallen in love with ever again. It hurts. It hurts so much and yet she watches as the girl passes and stays silent.

Belle looks at her, once, days later and she feels her breath catch in her throat. She hopes, she dares to hope, but the girl turns away, almost as if she’s looked right through her.

Red goes home that night, wearing her cape, and dreams of a life where Belle does see her, where Belle does love her.

Weeks, then months, pass and Red becomes silent, almost catatonic. It’s only when Snow, who has been in her life only for a few weeks, brings home a lost and shivering girl, a girl whose skin is pale, almost white and see-through, a terrified girl whose every breath is a sob, a desperate sob, that she breaks from her trance.

She takes the girls hand and she leads her home. It’s not Belle, it never would be… but she is happy, finally happy.

Desdemona is smirking, Regina says nothing and lets the woman pull her closer, the woman’s kiss is scorchingly hot and yet Regina melts into it, the passion, the need, that she’s been keeping buttoned down finally escapes and she lets herself go, arching into the woman’s touch.
