Shipping Meme-Day Two
Day 02 - What was your very first ship?
Tommy and Kimberly
So if we go way back in the day of a mini me, this probably would have been the show I was most obsessed with (followed by Xena) and the first couple I got really excited about. I just loved these two, even as a little kid. They were my two favorite characters and I loved that they were dating. Because in my little kid logic, my favorite two characters should be together. I was incredibly sad when Kimberly left the show and then ended up sending Tommy a Dear John letter. It took me forever to get over it, and I never could like Kat completely because she was no Kimberly. Cory and Topanga came in second place, but I think I actually grew to love them and the show more when I was older. But they were still very much considered.
On a non meme note, it was really hard to find a good pic of these guys. I feel as though that's just not how it should be.

I kept watching, but it was never the same. I don't know how long I lasted, but I know I never loved a pink ranger as much as Kimberly.
Cory/Topanga would definitely come in second for me too.
I have so much love for these two and just Boy Meets World in general. Whenever I find it on tv (which is rare but I do stumble on it occastionally) I have to stop and watch at least a couple minutes. XD

Right? There is like nothing out there for them. I actually expected it to be a lot easier, because in my mind that's just how it should be, but it was so much harder than I thought. And all the ones I could find were LQ which made me sad. There too awesome not to have better pics out there.

Power Rangers was awesome, and thinking back on it now I love that I shipped them so long before I knew what shipping was. They were aweosme!

I picked out some of my favorites to share with you.
Collaborator This is actually my favorite Chlex fic. Its a WIP and it hasn't been updated for a while, so fair warning, but I'd still recommend it to anyone who likes the pairing. It has some really nice character development for both of them and it manages to bring them together in a really realistic way set during S6, which is difficult in my opinion.
Actually the author of that one, Panache, has a lot of really good fics, I'd reccomend all of the ones she posted.
Ends and Means This one is pretty long, but its amazing and well worth the time spent reading it. Its an AU futurefic that brings the two back togehter after not seeing each other for years and it includes Bruce Wayne, though not in a triangle kind of a way.
The Depths We Sink To Another WIP, but another one of my favorites and the author promises to update it soon. Fair warning, there's a lot of smut in there, but its used to drive the story and its an awesome take on what happened in offscreenville with Chloe and Lex in S7.
What You Don't Know I'm a sucker for a good amnesia fic and that's what this is. Chloe loses her memory and Lex takes advantage of that, but with all good fics like this, feelings get involved making things more complicated. Its a good combination of romance and angst.
