Christmas Wish List

Step One:

Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

Surf around your friends-list (or wish_list) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes your “trash” is another's treasure.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

 

MY WISH LIST: 

1. I really want more icons to be able to use. I love icons but can’t afford a paid account right now, so if anyone is feeling really generous out there, I’d love more icon space.

2. A writing collab partner. I’ve never done this before (fair warning for anyone considering it), but I think it looks like a lot of fun. I was thinking a Chloe Sullivan crossover story (preferably a fandom I’m familiar with but I’m always open to new things) but all ideas are welcome.

3. A Chloe/Oliver story based off of When Harry Met Sally. I think it would be amazing and work perfectly for their characters with a Chlollie twist. Sally’s even a blonde journalist and you could even have Lois and Clark as their best friends they try to set up with each other but end up falling in love. Seriously, I think it could really work and would be amazing. (If anyone was interested this could be a possible collab writing project too, because if no one does this I might attempt it myself.)

4. Gifs. I love gifs, and possibly have a small addiction to them. But I can never seem to find a lot in fandoms I love. So any you could make or point me in the direction I would love you forever.

5. Chloe/Tess fanvid. I love these two and there’s like no vids for them out there. Really though, anything Chloe/Tess would make me extremely happy as their not largely shipped throughout fandom.

6. Fanmixes and ficmixes. I love these and just can’t get enough of them. Anything from my fandoms would make me happy, but if it you want more specifics comment or pm me.

7. I’d love a new journal layout and header and a dumbed down tutorial for it, as html coding and I are not really friends. Dark colors, I’m fond of black and red but open to other colors too. And I’d like my header to still include Dean and Chloe, as they’re my favorite characters, but other than that go crazy.

8. Comment on people work. Personally I'm horrible at this, though I'm attempting to get better at it, but I know what an awesome feeling it is to have someone comment on something that I've done, whether its something simple like 'awesome job' or an incredibly detailed review. So just try to take the time to comment after you've read something you really enjoy. I'll be trying to do this too.  

9. Anything related to Allison Mack or Chloe Sullivan will make me incredibly happy (if you haven’t gotten that from the above wishes) graphics, icons, videos, anything. I’m very easily pleased.

10. And a non-fandom note, and a far more depressing one, I have a friend who is currently missing. Nobody knows where he is and there’s really no trace of him. Please keep him in your prayers or thoughts, that he’s found or he reappears on his own, healthy and unharmed. Thank you!
