Yep, the show definitely ruined the magnificent evil mastermind that created Clark's most dangerous adversary. And while the show didn't really write any of the characters the way I would have preferred it, I don't think they completely ruined any of them either. Oh no, I made the show an almost compliment. O_O And that season 7 Chloe/Lionel scene was great! Chloe/Luthors-nemeses scenes were always the best. :D Sadly, that was followed by one of Chloe's more thoughtless actions, I will NEVER understand why she didn't stuff that damn key into her bra! and since if I remember correctly Lois did do that, hide important stuff in her bra that is, I have to assume the show just wasn't ready for that kind of Chlex scene that would have followed (I mean the deleted Thirst scene already oozed chemistry and hotness and that was just face touching in a hospital no less), 'cuz you know Lex would have had no problem retrieving the key from that much better hiding place. Maybe I'll one day get my lazy writing ass to write a one-shot of that alternate scenario.
OF COURSE JENSEN IS THE MOST ATTRACTIVE KINDA GUEST STAR!!!! (sorry, I get excited about Jensen, just watched Dawson's Creek for the first time and I forgot that he appeared in the last season and I might have squeeed when I recognized him in the background in his first scene, it came close to the noises I made when James appeared in season 5 of Smallville) :D Actually, Jensen is the most attractive male on Smallville to me period, because while from a rational view point I recognize that all the other males on Smallville were pretty/sexy/hot as well, especially Tom and Justin, they just never 'did it' for me, and imo, especially attractiveness includes the whole package, not just a pretty face/hot body. And with Jensen I had that instant reaction of damn it must be hard for him to get taken serious as an actor with a face like that. Also, post-Supernatural watching I will never not be biased when it comes to Jensen ever again. :D And if we're really just talking guest stars, mine would be James Marsters, I had a crazy James phase back when I was watching Buffy and Angel. <3 As for most attractive female, now that is MUCH tougher imo, because they're all so very attractive and such different kinds of attractive too! But yes, Zatanna is very attractive/hot! I think I will go with your pick on this one because I'm drawing a blank on all the attractive females that ran across the Smallville screen.
I agree about the character deaths, as well, though none of the character deaths made me cry, I found the show did better with funerals than actual deaths. And a death that was simply emotional even though it didn't stick is Lois/Chloe season 6/7. Tess death was unnecessary imo, since it so clearly was just to have a death in the finale and show the Lex clones rise to originial Lex's level of evilness whose ultimate act of 'evil' was to kill his father by killing his sister and Tess deserved more than have her end of the show play direct second string to that of somebody else's end.
If you're most like Chloe/Tess, no wonder we get along so well. :D Since I'm a redhead (doesn't matter that's a different shade of red), I can be the Tess (or a young Martha) to your Chloe or Lois or Lana or Kara. <3 Now, characterwise I'm probably most like Bart, with a dash of the rest of the Justice League (which doesn't include Clark!) and all of the awesome women (Chloe, Lana, Lois, Kara, Tess) . haha.
Well, now that's an answer! I probably would have gone with Lois, aka, the characters the writers loved, though I think all the characters had writers/producers who really really loved them, especially the characters that were on the show for more than one season, obviously. :D Considering your answer though, it makes a lot of sense and I absolutely have to agree, they did seem to have a hard time admitting that Clark wasn't perfect and pulled some serious sh*t.
