I love this! And it actually proved to me that our mental Chloe link is still intact, albeit a bit rusty, 'cuz I was trying to think of a believable forced proximity for Chloe/Lex myself, and I actually settled for the same timeline and a similar scenario where the portal-thingie has the same effect on both of them, though I was thinking more like it transporting them both to some place else, though them being stuck in the cave together obviously works too, and it's easy to fanwank that in that case the portal rejects none-kryptonian DNA or something like that.
And is it just me or did you have to force yourself to let it come to an end and not keep writing more?
Anyway, I always love it when Chloe and Lex call each other out on their history and past actions/transgressions.
And above all else I love it when they're true to their characters and as close to their onscreen relationship as possible, because I just love the antagonistic nature of their relationship, which is why Lex is my favorite adversary for Chloe. So, yeah, love this and love that they are both 100% themselves/how I see them. :)
